It being the 24th June today, our new record should be getting mixed in Brooklyn by Gary Olsen and Kev Pederson. Also, we’re playing a festival at Mono, Glasgow on 4th July with Comet Gain, Peter Parker, Veronika Falls and Remember Remember (i think/hope). Gonna try to play an almost entirely new set too. Always a clever thing to do at festivals……x

i’ve tried three different times in the past year to see you boys when you’ve come to new york, but they’ve all gone horribly wrong.
long stories involving terrible fake IDs, unfriendly bouncers, and a very inconsiderate volcano postponing your brooklyn show to a day when i was out of town.
i just thought you should know, new york loves you, and would really appreciate more 1990s shows here if you get the chance.
i personally am dying to see you boys play, but the fates have been conspiring against this — kindly help me give fate a big ol’ “FUCK YOU” so i can rock out to the 1990s in person. instead of in my tiny apartment with large speakers.

Olivia, that is so sweet of you. We’d play NYC every month if we could but the money-cash is thin on the ground. Maybe when our new record comes out some saintly promoter will bring us over. Fingers crossed……
